Yesterday Pippa O Connor, the gorgeous model, author, blogger and businesswoman extraordinaire launched her latest venture- a capsule jean collection made up of five different styles. The RHA Gallery on Ely Place played host to stylists, journalists and broadcasters for the media launch, who sipped on Aperol Spritz’s courtesy of House Dublin and munched on pizzas by Dough Kitchen.

Harper’s Bazaar’s Julie-Anne Dorff interviewed Pippa, who talked through her five-piece collection on stage, as an army of models showed off the different styles. Kicking things off with Thalia Heffernan in the “Off Dutys” Pippa described these as the perfect day-off jean but styled them with heels and a sequin top to show their versatility. A relaxed fit jean, the off-duty are a sexier fit than a traditional boy jean but allow for more movement than a skinny or slim jean.

Next up was the “Mama-To-Be” maternity jean. Pippa explained that when she was pregnant with both her sons she struggled to find a comfortable, trendy jean that held it’s shape and thus decided to design the perfect maternity jean as part of the POCO collection.

“The Slimmer” jean does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s high waist, hold-in properties makes it the ultimate drop-a-jean-size option for women of any shape.

The “Leather Look” jean has a beautiful wax sheen which gives it a dressy finish, the perfect accompaniment to a sequin top for a party night out or for bringing a monochrome look to life, as it was styled for last night’s catwalk.

The final stye in the POCO collection is the “Saturday Night”, a dressy jean perfect for hitting the town! Pippa explained this jean style intentionally off-black as it can be difficult to style jet black jeans with the rest of you wardrobe.
