COS SS17

This week COS -the minimalist Swedish sister brand to high street favourite H&M- had their spring/summer 2017 press preview. It was the first spring 2017 media event I have attended (apart from NYFW) so it was hard to get my head around summery clothes when it’s so damn cold outside! Guests were treated to juices by Green Beard and delicious healthy nibbles from Cocu Kitchen, like acai bowls, steak salads and coconut raspberry cake!

In keeping with Cos’ signature style, the collection consisted of minimal styles in block colours of ivory, stone, cream pale blue, terracota, and sage green but splashed across interesting, oversized silhouettes.

I’m always excited by the accessories at Cos. This season included a gold plated set of a bar ring, earrings and necklace. The rubberised folded leather shoulder bag in dark sage was the perfect compliment to the clothing collection.

The standout pieces for me were a heavy jersey bodycon dress and a terracota short suit.
